CICLOS

A vinyl record groove is not made of concentric circles but of a spiral: with every rotation, the needle passes beside the music that has just been heard and alongside what is yet to come, moving toward an inevitable ending that begins at the outer edge and concludes at the center of a small world.

Like seasons, cycles open new possibilities to refine what came before through continuous learning, while simultaneously exposing us to uncertainty—changes that may be abrupt or gradual, predictable or unexpected.

These musical pieces behave like a vinyl groove. They explore potential future paths while revisiting sketches traced during previous journeys. There is something diary-like in them, but even more so a sense of flight and reverie. In CYCLES, fragments of the past are sampled to imagine new worlds, while entirely new environments are designed free from the rules of those that came before.
Each sound wave is itself a cycle in time, embedded within other cycles. CICLOS moves between the microscopic and the panoramic, offering a perspective on paths already traveled and those still unfolding—where a macro photograph of a vinyl groove resembles a plowed field seen from above.

Artomatico is a Spanish sound artist, composer, and percussionist whose work explores rhythm, texture, and perception through an experimental, deep-listening‒oriented approach. Moving between contemporary electronic music, sound art, and post-classical minimalism, his practice combines acoustic percussion, electronic processing, and granular sound design to create immersive, intimate sound worlds where repetition and detail play a central role.

Alongside his solo work, Artomatico has composed music for audiovisual projects and contemporary dance productions, and has performed extensively as a live musician in both electronic and traditional music contexts, including contemporary flamenco performances.

CICLOS (spanish word for CYCLES) is Artomatico’s fourth album, released in December 2025. The record continues his exploration of cyclical structures, memory, and transformation, expanding his sonic language toward more textural, ASMR-inflected, and contemplative territories, while maintaining a strong connection to rhythm, physical gesture, and organic sound.

The result is an immersive, ASMR-inflected listening experience: cinematic yet intimate, textural, granular, organic, and contemplative. Minimal gestures, experimental structures, and sound art techniques converge to create an emotive and transcendent space, where contemporary electronic and post-classical sensibilities coexist.

Echoes of  contemporary and traditional artists resonate throughout the work in a landscape shaped by avant garde electronics, detailed sound design, and deep listening.

As great as the title, as sensual and emotional as the piece: "Electroflamenco 3.0" is a dreamlike journey through the landscapes of life. ‘Tremor’ reviewed in France by Boulimequedemusique

The Spanish artist proposes an instrumental work with exploratory electronic sounds. Extremely atmospheric and musically mestizo, this piece captivates the attention with its shadowy atmosphere. Of great sound richness, this is a piece full of emotions, subtleties and intensity. ‘Tremor’ reviewed in Brasil by Playfonic

With a slow start, the music of Artomático’s ‘El Grito en el Cielo’ is an electronic instrumental with vocal melodies that add intensity and atmosphere. The artist combines traditional elements of Spanish flamenco with current ones, generating an intense and provocative atmosphere. A great song
